Appointments
The consulate is open for scheduled appointments, 10 am - 2 pm, Tuesdays and Thursdays. Applicants will only be permitted entry with a valid booking confirmation. Walk-ins will not be admitted.

NB. Applicants should select the service they require and a time slot. Once a booking has been made, a confirmation email will be sent including our address and a map. To avoid delays with applications, we ask that scans of the relevant documents be sent to Consular Secretary Julia Østberg O'Connor (sweden@csct.se) for review in advance of the appointment.
If a service is not listed or cannot be selected, it is outside of our remit.

Carl Fredrik Sammeli
Carl Fredrik is a Swedish entrepreneur, investor and advisor, living in Cape Town and operating his family's businesses in South Africa, the Netherlands, Sweden and beyond. In 2019, Carl Fredrik founded Bitprop, a company empowering township property owners around Cape Town to develop rental apartments on their land, building a sustainable income stream. With strong ties in both Sweden and South Africa, Carl Fredrik aims to foster international collaboration between the two countries that he and his family define as “home” in his capacity as Honorary Consul of Sweden in Cape Town, with jurisdiction covering the Western Cape and Eastern Cape provinces.
